More than eighty years ago Mr. Ogden made the invention of The Basic Word Wheel.  Some years ago John Derry and I tried to put it in a new form for use in the teaching of English. The work was too hard. Today in the LARC Workshop Dr. Eaton gave a talk and example on the making of Google Forms. I have put Mr. Ogden,s invention in a new form which is easy for teachers of English to use. I am certain that Mr. Ogden would be pleased, that after all these years a use may be made of his invention.  And I am certain, that if he could, that he wopuld say thank you to those who made it happen.
